The Role
An exciting opportunity to join our busy Technical Team working across the Retail sector. Applications are invited from committed, reliable and proactive individuals, capable of operating efficiently in a fast paced, dynamic working environment. Reporting directly into the Senior Technical Manager, candidates will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, confident of liaising at all levels both internally and externally, helping to maximise client engagement and unlock new business opportunities. Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail, the Technical Executive will manage all technical administrative requirements for customers & maintain, utilise and develop appropriate technical KPI’s to enable management of product safety, quality, legal compliance and customer satisfaction. Also responsible for customer liaison, supporting site visits and leading meetings where necessary, the Technical Executive can also expect to travel as required to customer sites across the region. Duties will also include analysing customer performance data and providing support for continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all technical administrative requirements for customers
- Support customer visits to site including first productions and lead customer meetings.
- Maintain all Technical documentation
- Utilise & develop Technical KPI’s to enable management of product safety, quality & legal compliance
- Reviewing copy artwork to ensure packaging information accuracy
- Manage and close out any complaints as necessary
- Provide Technical support to the broader team as required
- Travel to customer/supplier sites as required
Required Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Previous FMCG or Food/Produce experience an advantage
- Able to work effectively as part of a team
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Confident Team player with excellent time management ability
- UK driving licence and ability to travel within the UK
- Proficient in the use of MS Office applications
