At Barfoots, maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming workplace is essential to everything we do. We're looking for Site Hygiene & Facilities Operatives who take pride in maintaining high standards across our production support areas and shared facilities. This role focuses on keeping welfare areas, communal spaces and site facilities clean, organised and compliant with company standards.

The Role

Working across our Sefter Farm site, you'll help maintain a clean and hygienic environment for colleagues, visitors and operational teams. You'll be responsible for routine and scheduled cleaning across a variety of locations while ensuring cleaning standards remain consistently high.

Responsibilities

  • Cleaning welfare facilities, changing rooms and communal areas
  • Maintaining toilets, washrooms and rest facilities
  • Cleaning offices, corridors, entrances and shared spaces
  • Emptying waste and recycling where required
  • Replenishing cleaning and hygiene consumables
  • Maintaining cleaning equipment and storage areas
  • Completing cleaning records and checklists
  • Reporting hazards, maintenance issues or stock shortages
  • Following COSHH guidance and Health & Safety procedures
  • Supporting wider site cleaning activities when required

About You

  • Reliable and self-motivated
  • Good eye for detail
  • Able to prioritise workload
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
  • Previous commercial or industrial cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential
  • Good communication skills
