The Role

Fantastic opportunity to join our busy Production teams across both Chichester and Pagham sites.

We are looking for reliable individuals, capable of working effectively and efficiently in a busy, team driven environment.

Working across various departments, duties and responsibilities will reflect appropriate experience levels.

Ideally with some experience in a similar fast paced environment, we are looking for both Skilled and Technical Operators for our busy factories.

Joining a great proactive team, candidates will assist with all steps in the production process, with typical duties for including, but not restricted to:

  • Skilled Operators
  • Operation and monitoring of production line maquinaria
  • Packaging
  • Machine changeovers
  • Recording accurate production records
  • Short interval control
  • Operator supervision where applicable
  • Technical/Machine Operators
  • Set up, operate and adjust machinery to required specifications and perform basic pre-planned maintenance as required
  • Operate and maintain a minimum of two complex production machines, including (but not limited to) Strauss, bagging lines, flow wrappers, lidding, Mic Vac and automation lines, achieving required UPM targets
  • Supervise line operators and agency staff

Requirements

  • Previous/Similar Factory/Manufacturing Experience
  • Basic level of English
  • Good communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Able to work under pressure and to deadlines
  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills
  • A 'can do' and flexible attitude

• A strong team player with a positive mindset!

Day Shifts: 4 - days on, 4 days off - Full time, permanent positions
