A great opportunity for a Junior Office Administrator to join our busy Farm Office team. We’re looking for a reliable and proactive individual who is keen to start a career in an office based environment, learning all elements of administration support. Reporting to the Farm Director, you’ll need good communication skills and feel comfortable speaking with a range of people, both within the business and externally. In this role, you’ll support the farm management team with day-to-day administrative tasks, including data entry and helping with reception duties when needed. Full training will be provided where required. We’re looking for someone who is organised, able to manage their workload, and enjoys working as part of a team. This role would suit someone starting out in an administrative career or looking to build their experience.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Supporting the farm management team with general administrative tasks
- Entering and updating information on internal systems
- Ordering supplies and parts when needed
- Helping to organise fuel deliveries and keep records up to date
- Assisting with fuel tracking for farm vehicles
- Helping with basic purchasing tasks, such as raising orders when required
- Providing reception/front of house cover when needed
- Supporting the team with other day-to-day tasks as required
Required Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Positive attitude and willing to learn
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office (training can be provided)
- Comfortable using computers and entering information accurately
- Organised and able to keep track of tasks
- Able to manage time and meet deadlines
- Good attention to detail
- Able to adapt and learn new ways of working
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
