We’re looking for a hands-on, people-focused Hospitality Venue Manager to help lead the day-to-day operations of a lively hospitality and events space in Southport town centre. What You’ll Be Doing
- Running the Venue
- Take the lead on daily operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly
- Maintain high standards across cleanliness, organisation, and presentation
- Manage opening and closing procedures with confidence
- Delivering Great Hospitality
- Oversee bar and café service and step in when needed
- Create a welcoming, high-quality customer experience
- Keep on top of stock and ensure the venue is always well-prepared
- Supporting Events & Experiences
- Play a key role in delivering live events, performances, and sessions
- Ensure events run seamlessly and on schedule
- Work closely with performers and facilitators to bring events to life
- Leading the Team
- Support, motivate, and guide staff and temporary team members
- Help train and develop team members
- Plan staffing effectively around busy services and events
- Keeping Things Safe & Compliant
- Ensure licensing, health & safety, and operational standards are met
- Oversee cash handling and day-to-day procedures
- Maintain a safe, professional environment for everyone
About You
You’re someone who:
- Has experience in hospitality, bar, café, or small venue management
- Is confident balancing service and events environments
- Leads from the front with a hands-on approach
- Stays calm, organised, and decisive under pressure
- Communicates clearly and builds great relationships
- Is reliable, proactive, and adaptable
Bonus points if you have:
- Experience in live events or performance venues
- A Personal Licence or knowledge of licensing laws
- Food Hygiene certification
Working Pattern
25 hours per week. Typically evenings and weekends (Thursday–Sunday). Flexibility required depending on event schedules.
