Escabeche is an independent, family-run restaurant & bar built on genuine hospitality, bold Spanish flavours, and great people. Located in the heart of West Bridgford, we’re looking for a charismatic, energetic, and people-focused Deputy General Manager to help lead our restaurant and bar.

This is a key leadership role within the business, perfect for someone who loves hospitality, thrives on creating atmosphere, and naturally brings energy to a room. We’re looking for a genuine host — someone who can inspire a team, build relationships with guests, and help create the kind of restaurant & bar people can’t wait to come back to.

You’ll work closely with the General Manager to continue building a fun, positive, and high-performing team culture centred around warmth, personality, and heartfelt hospitality.

The Role:

  • Support the General Manager in the day-to-day running of the restaurant & bar
  • Lead from the floor during service, creating a warm, lively, and memorable guest experience
  • Bring energy and positivity to every shift, helping set the tone for the team
  • Build strong relationships with guests and create a loyal local following
  • Support the recruitment, training, and development of a happy and motivated team
  • Maintain high standards of service, atmosphere, cleanliness, and presentation
  • Take ownership of smooth daily operations in the General Manager’s absence
  • Support events, private bookings, and busy service periods with confidence and enthusiasm
