We are seeking an ambitious chef de partie to help lead the kitchen team at baresca. baresca focuses on delivering excellent fresh, flavour packed tapas with warm, friendly service in a fun and vibrant atmosphere.
baresca forms part of our Nottingham based family-run small group of venues which include Perkins Bar & Bistro, The Carriage Hall in Plumtree and escabeche in West Bridgford.
The role of the Chef de partie is to help run all aspects of the food operations, preparing and sending food to the set standard.
The main duties would include
- Responsible for day to day food production.
- Alongside the Head and Sous Chef, take responsibility for the good order and management of the kitchen.
- Ensure effective communication between front and back of house operations.
- Alongside the Head and Sous Chef, take responsibility for stock levels and deliveries.
- Manage all sections of the kitchen.
- Maintain kitchen Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s).
- Innovate and contribute to menu development.
- Responsible for kitchen legal compliance.
