We are looking for a Sales Manager Pet Food to join our team based in Redhill/Reigate, the UK. The company sources branded specialty ingredients from leading manufacturers worldwide and its ingredient experts provide value-added technical support which includes pre-mixing, blending, ingredient formulation and ingredient testing from its state-of-the-art, customized formulation centers and application laboratories in EMEA, Americas and Asia-Pacific. Established in 1953, Barentz has operations in more than 70 countries with a strong presence in Europe and North America, and a rapidly growing network in Latin America and Asia-Pacific. The company employs over 2,700 people worldwide and serves more than 27,000 customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong account management with customers, ensuring they receive comprehensive product information.
- Drive new business development, manage sales funnels, and collaborate with principals on forecasting and pricing.
Qualifications:
- A BSc. or MSc. in Animal Nutrition or Food Technology.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in specialty sales within the Human/Animal Nutrition industry.
- Proven commercial track record, with strong technical knowledge and networking skills.
- Willingness to travel frequently within the UK.
- Lives in the UK and can travel to HQ in Reigate.
- Proactive, organised with strong time management skills.
