Bare Hall Quality Carers are looking for an enthusiastic, committed, and caring individual to join our friendly, caring and supportive team. We are looking for people with a minimum of 1 year’s care experience who want to make a difference in someone’s life.

We provide all our new starters with a full induction and ongoing refresher training. We are constantly looking to develop our staff and provide them with opportunities to become experts within their fields. We offer a career, not just a job.

Bare Hall Quality Carers provide a person-centred service to clients in their own flat within a new 13 flats scheme, enabling clients to live as independently as possible.

The role of a Support Worker Waking Nights may involve:

  • Personal care
  • Night time observations if needed
  • Medication support
  • Support to clients with Autism and Asperger's, Acquired Brain Injury, and Learning Difficulties

All person-specific training will be given before starting, as well as paid shadow shifts. We are looking for Support Workers who are interested in learning or expanding their knowledge within the care sector. Experience in the above is not required, but having knowledge around these areas will serve as an advantage.

You do not need to drive for the role, although it is desirable. It is more important that you have the right values and want to help make a difference in someone’s life. You will be based in one building, and there are opportunities for waking night shifts and sleep-in shifts, which will be discussed with you at interview.

We currently have positions in the Lancaster/Morecambe Area. Due to the needs of the role, we require all of our support workers to be over 18. The shift patterns are various and will include sleep-ins, which are paid as an increment. Overtime will be available for suitable candidates, and the right candidates must have some flexibility.
