- Shift Timings – Dayshift – candidates must be flexible and available to work Monday to Friday
You will be working in a site‑based role within the public sector, where officers are responsible for ensuring the safety and security of both staff and visitors.
Responsibilities
- Trained to provide relief cover and support to a portfolio of locations within a geographical region.
- All tasks and activities as per site operational guidance and Assignment Instructions; provide quality service delivery.
- Manage and maintain a safe environment for the client’s staff and customers.
- Provide proactive presence in all public facing areas as activity requires, including positive initial reception for clients and directional guidance.
- Work directly with the customer as part of a team to provide conflict resolution at our client’s premises where there is potential for conflict.
- Work closely with your fellow colleagues to ensure members of the public comply with site rules and guidance.
- Use common sense and initiative immediately involving others if a situation becomes threatening.
- Be able to administer First Aid assistance if a member of public or client’s staff becomes suddenly unwell (training will be provided).
- Complete legible incident report writing if and when an incident arises.
- Work to maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for everyone.
Qualifications and Requirements
- SIA License.
- 5‑year checkable work/career history.
- Full driving licence and access to own transport is essential.
- Prior experience of working in a customer‑facing environment and dealing directly with staff/customers.
- Physically fit to undertake given tasks.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Flexible attitude and the ability to adapt.
- Security and operational system competence.
