We are seeking a reliable, vigilant, and experienced Security Supervisor to lead our on-site security team. In this role, you will oversee daily shift operations, manage guard schedules, and ensure the safety of our people, property, and assets. You will be the first point of contact for incidents, acting calmly and decisively under pressure.

Your main responsibilities may include:

  • Manage and lead the team: Oversee a team of security officers, manage shift rotas, and conduct performance briefings. Work with the Operations Manager to ensure if any blow outs are covered and arrange holiday cover.
  • Monitor Operations: Run regular patrols, check access control points, ensure any gates are locked and test surveillance equipment such as CCTV.
  • Respond to incidents: Handle all incidents, respond to security breaches, incident report writing and liaising with local authorities and emergency services where applicable.
  • Maintain compliance: Enforce health and safety regulations, conduct risk audits, and lead emergency evacuation drills.

To succeed in this role, you will need the following:

  • Valid SIA License
  • FAID and CPR Certification preferred but not essential
  • Full UK Driving licence
  • Clear communication both verbal and written
  • IT Literate – strong working knowledge of modern CCTV network, fire panels and visitor management software
  • Physically fit to undertake given tasks
  • Possess the ability to work under pressure
  • Previous experience, working as a Security Supervisor would be an advantage
  • 5-year checkable work/career history
