About the role

  • Salary – Up to £48,000
  • Location – Bristol
  • Shift Timings – Full time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

We’re seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead and deliver mid‑sized security system projects (typically £200k–£1m). This role covers all phases—from tender review to technical handover—specialising in CCTV, access control, intruder alarms, and related security infrastructure.

Your main responsibilities may include:

  • Lead full project lifecycle: planning, execution, monitoring, handover
  • Manage budgets, schedules, and contractor teams
  • Collaborate with design, engineering, and installation groups
  • Ensure compliance with NSI/BAFE/British Standards
  • Act as primary client liaison—intelligent and responsive
  • Supervise on‑site progress, health & safety, and quality assurance

To succeed in this role, you will need the following:

  • Proven delivery of complex security systems (CCTV, access control, intruder alarms), £200k–£1m+ project values
  • At least 5 years in electronic fire/security project roles
  • Knowledge of NSI/BAFE/industry standards and codes of practice
  • Strong technical background covering CCTV, access control, intruder alarm installation & commissioning
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and organisational skills
  • Have a strong track record managing electronic security systems projects
  • Can confidently handle multiple concurrent projects
  • Possess excellent stakeholder and subcontractor management skills
