We’re recruiting motivated, professional individuals to join a specialist emergency response team at a major automotive manufacturing plant. This is a role for people who want to step beyond traditional guarding — where fast thinking, teamwork, and high‑level training come together to keep a large, high‑profile site safe. If you’re looking for a position where your skills grow, your responsibilities matter, and every shift brings something different, this could be the ideal next step.

What You’ll Be Doing

In this multi‑skilled position, you will play an essential part in maintaining safety across the site. Duties include:

  • Providing a proactive and visible security presence
  • Responding quickly to fire alarms, medical matters, and environmental incidents
  • Supporting daily operations as part of a trained emergency response team
  • Using and maintaining specialist equipment
  • Completing patrols, searches, and accurate incident reports
  • Ensuring the site meets all safety, security, and environmental requirements

What We’re Looking For

We want individuals who bring professionalism, reliability, and a readiness to learn. Essential:

  • Full UK driving licence
  • Valid SIA Front Line Licence (or willingness to gain one — funded training available)
  • Ability to pass medical and fitness checks
  • Confident communicator with a professional approach
  • Able to work days, nights, weekends
  • Able to pass vetting and random drug/alcohol tests
  • Basic to intermediate IT skills

Desirable:

  • FREC 3 or equivalent first aid qualification

Please note: Due to breathing apparatus requirements, staff must be clean‑shaven or maintain a tightly trimmed goatee style beard for safety compliance.

Why Join This Team?

  • Work at a well‑known automotive site with modern, dynamic operations
  • Access high‑quality specialist training across multiple emergency disciplines
  • Build recognised skills that open doors to advanced security, fire, or emergency response careers
  • Be part of a professional team that values readiness, skill, and progression
