BardWood Support Services are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Corporate receptionist to work in a prestigious corporate site, where you will be required to provide a Front of House service within reception, playing an instrumental role in delivering excellent customer service to both internal and external clients.
The position requires you to have a high level of self-presentation, customer service & communication skills are essential along with a positive/helpful attitude.
Your main responsibilities may include:
- Act as first point of contact for all queries in an efficient and concise manner
- Provide a warm, professional, and personalised welcome to all guests
- Meet and greet all visitors and advise host of visitors arrival
- Act as point of contact for incoming calls. Operate switchboard in a timely and professional manner
- Effectively build and maintain professional relations with both internal and external contacts
- Upkeep of meeting rooms and report any issues to the Facilities team
- Replenish Front of House refreshments when required
- General administrative support. Providing Health and Safety information for new starters (i.e. New Starters Building Induction)
- Keep reception tidy and presentable
- Weekly fire cell tests alongside fire contractor
- Update daily visitor list
- Assist with visitor pass requests when required following security process
- First class customer service
- Good computer literate skills and outstanding communication
- Answer emails relating to requests for Daily needs
- Answer phone and book visitor parking spaces
- Provide input to the team regarding improvements to services
To succeed in this role, you will need the following:
- 5-year checkable work/career history
- Experience in a similar role preferred
- SIA license is preferred but not essential
- Possess the ability to work under pressure
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Professional and courteous telephone manner
- Experience of delivering excellent customer service both face to face and over the telephone
- Ability to liaise with people at a Senior Level
