About the role

  • Pay Rate - Β£15.00
  • Location - Guinness building
  • Shift Timings - Up to 45 hours a week, must be fully flexible and able to work weekends

You will be working in a corporate building where you will be responsible for providing safety and security to the building, property and assets. Your main responsibilities may include:

  • Ensure all instructions, both written and verbal are adhered to
  • Report any issues to the supervisor or duty manager
  • Always conduct yourself in a professional manner
  • Provide regular foot patrols within defined areas as an effective deterrent in the protection of the client's property and assets
  • Provide a point of contact and information centre to staff and visitors
  • Respond to emergencies
  • Deal with conflict in an appropriate manner if required
  • Write up incidents to the standard expected by Management
  • Carry out ID checks
  • Be vigilant to the Health and Safety risks
  • Excellent communication skills to all levels - verbally, written, phone and by security radios
  • Can work effectively as part of a team or can work on own initiative
  • A positive attitude to dealing with people and taking on challenges

To succeed in this role, you will need the following:

  • SIA License
  • 5-year checkable work/career history
  • Experience in corporate security or minimum 3 years of experience in the security industry
  • Physically fit to undertake given tasks
  • Possess the ability to work under pressure
