About the role
- Pay Rate - Β£15.00
- Location - Guinness building
- Shift Timings - Up to 45 hours a week, must be fully flexible and able to work weekends
You will be working in a corporate building where you will be responsible for providing safety and security to the building, property and assets. Your main responsibilities may include:
- Ensure all instructions, both written and verbal are adhered to
- Report any issues to the supervisor or duty manager
- Always conduct yourself in a professional manner
- Provide regular foot patrols within defined areas as an effective deterrent in the protection of the client's property and assets
- Provide a point of contact and information centre to staff and visitors
- Respond to emergencies
- Deal with conflict in an appropriate manner if required
- Write up incidents to the standard expected by Management
- Carry out ID checks
- Be vigilant to the Health and Safety risks
- Excellent communication skills to all levels - verbally, written, phone and by security radios
- Can work effectively as part of a team or can work on own initiative
- A positive attitude to dealing with people and taking on challenges
To succeed in this role, you will need the following:
- SIA License
- 5-year checkable work/career history
- Experience in corporate security or minimum 3 years of experience in the security industry
- Physically fit to undertake given tasks
- Possess the ability to work under pressure
