Graphic Packaging International - Bardon

JOB PURPOSE

To assist in the running of a Folder/Gluer. To produce work at optimum efficiency and quality and lead and organise crew.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To undertake quality checks on work as it is produced.
  • To assist team leaders in continuous improvement projects.
  • Maintenance of machinery following T.P.Ms.
  • Carry out all duties in accordance with the standards required by PS9000 and BRC/IoP in terms of housekeeping, hygiene and product quality including continually and regularly checking the quality of the cartons throughout the job, making specific checks (such as colour, glue and window alignment, pressure marks, etc), ensuring appropriate line clearance and cleanliness, and completion of in-process inspection documentation.
  • Report any issues affecting quality or non-compliance to customer specifications immediately.
  • Carry out all duties in accordance with the standards required by the HSE and maintain compliance at all times.
  • Provide a fair amount of cover for holidays and/or sickness as required.
  • Ensure good working relationships with superiors, subordinates and peers, customers and any 3rd party visitors at all times.
  • Perform other duties as directed by your line manager.
