The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.

A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for an innovative and talented leader whose main purpose is to consistently monitor, evaluate and control/increase the efficiencies in the Operations Department, in line with the department's Key Performance Indicators. They will anticipate and strategically identify areas for improvement, action strategies to overcome barriers, and make the Operations Department as efficient as possible. The post holder will report any avoidable breaches, with solutions, to the Head of Operations. We are unable to provide sponsorship to work in this role. Main duties of the job:

  • The post holder will manage and lead a team of colleagues within the Operations Department, whose principal responsibility is to act as the front line of a high standard of service in the safe and effective delivery of patient care through call handling, dispatch and coordination of clinical care.
  • During those daily business activities, the post holder will use first class people management skills to create a supportive environment; modelling, inspiring and encouraging a culture of inclusion and respect.

Please note, this is an on-site role. We do not offer remote or hybrid options.

Job responsibilities:

  • This role will involve networking, contributing, producing and presenting at external meetings across various locations.
  • Using sound communication skills, the post holder will positively influence stakeholders and engage by maintaining, and building on, good working relationships.
  • The role holder will be responsible for the respective role whilst on duty. It represents a broad range of tasks, which may be required to be undertaken, either routinely or periodically.

Qualifications:

  • Good standard of education GCSE or equivalent

Experience:

  • Experience of working in a management capacity
  • Knowledge of Out of Hours Services/working with the general public
  • Computer literate with a good understanding of internal systems.
  • Experience of working in a pressurised environment, actively responding to a variety of priorities in the span of duty.
  • Experience in performance management/monitoring.
  • Knowledge of confidentiality regulations and protocols.
  • Knowledge of the NHS
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations
