With retail outlets located across Leinster, our client is seeking an experienced finance professional to join their growing team. This is a hands-on leadership role, combining financial control, operational oversight, and business partnering, working closely with the CFO and senior stakeholders. The role offers hybrid working.
You will have end-to-end responsibility for financial control and reporting across the group, while supporting strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes
- Own the accuracy of the P&L, balance sheet, and reconciliations
- Coordinate audits and statutory financial statements
- Manage group cash flow and working capital
- Ensure compliance with Irish Revenue, VAT, and regulatory requirements
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities
- Implement and maintain robust financial policies and controls
- Manage and develop the finance team, providing cover for key functions when required
- Drive continuous improvement across finance processes and systems
- Partner with the CFO on strategic planning, business cases, and investment analysis
- Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
- 2+ years’ post-qualification experience
- SME background is preferable
- Strong financial reporting and control expertise
