Barden are delighted to be assisting a rapidly growing international company based in Westmeath to identify a Group Financial Controller to join their finance team in a permanent role. This opportunity would suit a finance professional with prior experience in Manufacturing or FMCG who is looking to progress their career in a more commercial & strategic direction and add real value in a fast growing business.

ABOUT THE ROLE

  • Take overall ownership of the organisation’s financial reporting cycle, ensuring accurate and timely delivery across weekly, monthly, and annual outputs.
  • Produce monthly management accounts, providing clear analysis and meaningful insights to support business performance and decision-making.
  • Maintain adherence to all statutory financial reporting obligations across the group.
  • Manage treasury-related matters, including relationships with financial institutions, insurance arrangements, and exposure to foreign exchange risk.
  • Lead the year-end close process, coordinating external audits and ensuring completion of statutory accounts for all entities.

ABOUT THE PERSON

  • Qualified accounting professional with 6-10 years PQE.
  • Experience in managing teams essential.
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing business required.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in complex IT systems an advantage.
