For our office in Barcelona, we are currently looking for a highly motivated European Patent Attorney (qualification fulfilled or ongoing). Closely cooperating with our partner in charge of life science and chemistry, you will draft and prosecute patent applications in the fields of chemistry, pharmaceuticals, and life sciences and work on EPO oppositions and appeals.
Your profile:
- You hold a degree in chemistry, biochemistry, pharmacy, or a related discipline;
- You are a partially or fully qualified European Patent Attorney - any national qualification is a plus;
- You have practical experience in drafting and prosecuting patent applications before the European Patent Office (EPO) - practical experience in the pharmaceutical field is a plus;
- You have an excellent oral and written command of the English language - knowledge of Spanish and another EPO language is a plus;
- You have excellent analytical skills to quickly analyse technical and legal facts in detail and compellingly present the results orally and in writing;
- You have a sense of responsibility and take ownership of your advice and recommendations.
