This position is to perform and enable the design cooperation on optics, especially in Calibration, by working with R&D teams in Belgium, India, China, and our partners. You take a lead role in the optical measurement and calibration of the LED display products. Notions of process automations and software are an advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Optical measurement and calibration including algorithms.
- Collect and prepare the required documents (documentation and reports) for projects in a timely manner.
- Ensure fluent communication between all stakeholders.
- Support field-application if needed.
- Perform other tasks assigned by line manager.
Education:
- Bachelor\’s degree or above, major in optical engineering or a strong photonics background.
Experience:
- 5+ years of working experience with a master\’s degree or 7+ years with a bachelor\’s degree in optical-related areas. Rich experience in optical measurement and calibration is essential.
- Deep understanding of optical design of SMD / COB / MIP products.
- Good knowledge of matrix calculations and calibration algorithms.
- Familiar with software tools like MATLAB or similar, and software development (C++, C#,…).
- Proactive, with strong collaboration skills with local & global teams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail and quality.
- Traveling may be required.
