Youll harness cutting-edge technology to revolutionize our digital offerings.</p><p></p><p>To be successful in this role, you should have:</p><ul><li>Expertise in SQL, R, or Python statistical programming and data analysis.</li><li>Strong knowledge of data and analytics, such as dimensional modelling, ETL, reporting tools, data governance, data warehousing, and both structured and unstructured data.</li><li>Experience in data modelling on relational, big data, and cloud platforms. You should be able to liaise with stakeholders and draft requirements documentation.</li></ul><p></p><p>Other highly valued skills include:</p><ul><li>A good understanding of the banking and financial domain.</li><li>Strong analytical skills and an aptitude for problem-solving, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills.</li><li>The ability to lead/mentor small-to-medium-sized data/business analyst teams with diverse technical and functional skills across locations.</li></ul><p></p><p>You may be assessed on key critical skills relevant for success in the role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, and digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.</p><p></p><p>The role can be based in Knutsford, Northampton, or Glasgow.</p> <p><b>Purpose of the role</b></p><p>To implement data quality process and procedures, ensuring that data is reliable and trustworthy, then extract actionable insights from it to help the organisation improve its operation, and optimise resources. </p><p></p><p><b>Accountabilities</b></p><ul><li>Investigation and analysis of data issues related to quality, lineage, controls, and authoritative source identification.</li><li>Execution of data cleansing and transformation tasks to prepare data for analysis.</li><li>Designing and building data pipelines to automate data movement and processing.</li><li>Development and application of advanced analytical techniques, including machine learning and AI, to solve complex business problems.</li><li>Documentation of data quality findings and recommendations for improvement.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Assistant Vice President Expectations</b></p><ul><li>To advise and influence decision making, contribute to policy development and take responsibility for operational effectiveness.
