We are seeking a highly strategic and commercially driven Enterprise Sales Development Representative (SDR) focused exclusively on enterprise organisations, large private sector businesses, and government bodies. This role is not a high-volume SDR position. Instead, it focuses on precision prospecting, strategic account mapping, and personalised outreach to secure meetings with senior decision makers across complex organisations.
The successful candidate will be exceptional at identifying high-value opportunities, building targeted campaigns, and engaging senior stakeholders through tailored communication, digital outreach, and face-to-face meetings. You will play a critical role in opening doors with organisations that represent significant long-term revenue opportunities.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Enterprise Prospecting: Identify and map enterprise organisations, government bodies, and large private sector businesses that represent high-value opportunities. Conduct detailed research into target organisations including decision makers, procurement frameworks, and buying cycles. Build account strategies to approach organisations with multi-stakeholder buying structures.
- Targeted Campaign Development: Design and execute highly personalised outbound campaigns for enterprise prospects. Develop tailored messaging based on sector, organisation size, and strategic priorities. Use specialist prospecting and campaign software to manage and optimise targeted outreach. Leverage bespoke software and AI-driven tools to enhance targeting, personalise outreach, and improve campaign effectiveness.
- Enterprise Engagement: Secure meetings with senior stakeholders including C-suite, directors, and procurement leaders. Represent the business professionally in virtual meetings, industry events, and face-to-face meetings. Build early-stage relationships with enterprise decision makers and influencers.
- Government & Public Sector Targeting: Identify opportunities within government bodies, public sector organisations, and procurement frameworks. Research and monitor relevant framework agreements, tender pipelines, and strategic programmes.
- Collaboration with Sales & Marketing: Work closely with senior sales leadership to develop account penetration strategies. Deliver highly qualified opportunities to the sales team with detailed account intelligence and stakeholder insights. Partner with marketing to develop campaign concepts, refine messaging, and align outreach strategies with broader brand and growth objectives.
- Proven experience prospecting into large enterprises or government organisations.
- Ability to navigate complex organisations with multiple decision makers.
- Strong ability to design bespoke outreach strategies rather than generic high-volume campaigns.
- Experience using sales intelligence platforms, campaign automation tools, and prospecting software.
- Highly skilled in deep research, stakeholder identification, and account planning.
- Ability to identify the right entry points into large organisations.
- Confident engaging with senior decision-makers.
- Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
- Strong written communication skills (email, LinkedIn outreach).
- Comfortable presenting in Teams meetings, video calls, and in-person meetings.
- Self-motivated with a desire to meet and exceed targets.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to utilise bespoke software solutions.
- Comfortable using CRM and sales engagement tools.
- Positive, resilient, and coachable attitude.
- 3+ years’ experience in a sales or telesales role (B2B or B2C).
- Experience in the telecoms or IT sector.
- Familiarity with selling mobile, broadband, or VoIP services.
- Experience using Salesforce or similar platforms.
