Rapid Response Carer in Milton Keynes

Salary:£27,000 – £30,000 per year

Our Rapid Response Carers are a fundamental part of this unique team and are a vital role within the company.

You will provide personal, practical, social and emotional support to people in their own homes when emergency cover is required, the rapid response care team are on call to help throughout the company in any location. This will require you to be flexible to work 5 days out of 7 and be able to work both days/nights.

You will need to be happy to travel across the region, mileage is paid for travel. The position is salaried therefore you are paid even if emergency cover is not required.

What we are looking for in You:

• Kind, reliable, and respectful of professional boundaries
• Experience in care work or a willingness to learn
• Full UK driving licence
• Transport with business insurance
• To work both independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible, loyal, & trustworthy
• Good time management & brilliant communicator

Key Responsibilities:

• On call 5 days out of 7
• Epilepsy management
• PEG feeding
• Catheter care
• Stoma care and bowel management
• Personal care including washing, dressing & bathing
• Medication management
• Support with learning difficulties & additional needs
• Mental health support
• Clinical interventions as required , full training and ongoing support is provided by our clinical team
