Reporting to the Head of Clinical Services, you will play a key leadership role in overseeing care delivery, supporting staff, and ensuring exceptional outcomes for our clients. Adhere to and uphold the NMC Professional Code of Conduct always.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical oversight of day-to-day care package delivery
- Deliver specialist training to new and existing staff to maintain high clinical standards
- Attend client reviews as part of a multidisciplinary team and act as a strong client advocate
- Review and amend care plans and emergency procedures as required
- Complete monthly clinical visits
- Liaise with GPs and other healthcare professionals to ensure appropriate medical and clinical support
- Monitor delivery of care, including infection prevention and control procedures, e.g. wound care, catheter management; and ensure high standards are maintained
- Provide support in relation to medicines management and be able to assess staff competency to manage medication
Qualifications
- NMC Registered Nurse (essential)
- Experience in complex care or community-based care desirable
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Organised, proactive, and adaptable
- Passionate about delivering outstanding, person-centred care
