Technical Programme Manager (London Area)

An established financial services firm, specialising in global commodity markets, is seeking a hands-on Technical Programme Manager to join its London-based team.

This is a key role leading the delivery of a range of technology initiatives, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget. You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders and external technology partners, manage source code repositories, and contribute direct technical insight where needed.

The ideal candidate will have a background as a software developer, particularly in the .NET stack, and will have since progressed into programme and people management roles. This mix of technical expertise and strategic oversight will be essential for guiding teams and ensuring robust, fit-for-purpose solutions.

Key Skills & Experience:

• Previous hands-on experience with .NET (C#), ideally from a developer background
• Strong understanding of Python, React, Angular, SQL
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Enterprise, Azure DevOps, container technologies, and APIs
• Proven track record of delivering technology projects within financial services
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Financial markets or commodities experience (desirable)
• Strong organisational, leadership, and people management capabilities
