Are you an experienced fraud analyst looking to take on a senior role in a fast-paced financial services environment? We are seeking a Senior Fraud Analyst to play a key role in fraud detection, investigation, and prevention. This position offers the opportunity to work cross-functionally with Fraud, Data Science, Product, Compliance, and external partners to optimise fraud detection processes, enhance fraud models, and mitigate financial risk.
Key Responsibilities
- Investigate and manage complex fraud cases, working closely with both internal teams and outsourced fraud operations (BPO).
- Analyse fraud patterns, conduct root cause assessments, and implement preventive measures to reduce risk.
- Support the continuous improvement of fraud policies and account review processes.
- Oversee outsourced fraud detection activities, ensuring alignment with SLAs and KPIs.
- Provide guidance and feedback on complex fraud cases escalated by BPO teams.
- Identify and address gaps in fraud detection processes.
- Use advanced data analysis techniques to monitor fraud trends and drive process improvements.
- Develop and maintain dashboards tracking fraud KPIs, losses, and recovery rates.
- Prepare detailed reports on fraud performance for senior stakeholders.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in fraud analysis, ideally within financial services.
- Strong analytical and investigative skills.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python for fraud analysis.
- Experience with fraud prevention tools (CIFAS, Onfido, Experian, GBG).
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external teams.
- Certifications such as CFE or CAMS are highly desirable.
- A degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, or Finance is an advantage.
