A leading professional services organisation seeks a Technical Security Specialist to join its Information Security team in London. The role is permanent, and offered as hybrid with 2 days a week required in the central London office.
This role will focus on ensuring technology projects, systems and processes are secure before they go live, while also overseeing wider security assurance activity across the organisation.
You will coordinate penetration testing, vulnerability assessments and other technical security reviews, working with internal teams and external suppliers to scope testing, review findings, assess risk and drive remediation through to completion. You will also review technical designs, support change and architecture governance, advise stakeholders on security risks, and help improve security policies, standards and reporting.
The ideal candidate will have experience in information security, security assurance, vulnerability management, project security review or security architecture. Knowledge of ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials, NIST or similar frameworks would be highly beneficial.
This would suit someone who can understand technical security issues, communicate risk clearly, and work effectively with technology, project and business teams.
