A remote-working opportunity is available with a leading financial services firm for a security professional with good knowledge of application security or product security. This role will see you embedded in the business with responsibility for building security into key product areas.

This is a varied role that will include responsibilities such as:

  • Threat modelling
  • Reviewing solution designs
  • Code scanning
  • Offering technical challenge to identify security issues and solve security problems

The role will see you aligned to a 'tribe' and will require you to engage with key senior stakeholders regularly. The successful candidate will have a good understanding of cloud security and will have worked in application security engineering or product security previously. Previous financial services experience is not required.

The role is offered as remote within the UK. There is the option to go into an office if you wish, but that will be your choice - the organisation is happy to have you working remotely. You must currently be based in the UK with valid, permanent right to work in the UK. The role cannot be worked remotely from a country outside of the UK. Unfortunately, there is no visa sponsorship available at this time.

Depending on experience, the salary range is £65-£70k + benefits + good bonus potential.
