Travel Risk Manager required for a global financial services firm. The role will be centred on managing and ensuring the safety and security of staff when they are travelling.

Role description

  • Impact and lead on various operational performance goals including the delivery of an enhanced travel risk management programme, managing the firm's duty of care platform.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive travel risk management policies and procedures; complying with relative global standards (ISO 31030).
  • Oversee the firm's general insurance policy renewals, claims and production of effective management information. Insurances include property and business interruption, combined liability and travel.
  • Ensure the firm's coverage is comprehensive, compliant with local regulations and aligns with the firm's objectives.
  • Ensure people, premises, assets and information of the firm are adequately protected and secure.
  • Support the Senior Risk Assurance and Sustainability Manager in the roll out of critical Health and Safety.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough and bespoke risk assessments for travel destinations, providing Real Time support and guidance to travellers.
  • Direct responsibility for significant costs in respect of the firm's travel tracking software.
  • Provision of "specialist" security services such as arranging close protection, surveillance, kidnap response and managing assigned investigations.
  • Liaising both internally and with brokers and insurers to secure the best general insurance policy terms and claim outcomes.
  • Manage the continuing development of an effective response to security and medical incidents.
  • Conduct events risk assessments for extending Public Liability insurance cover and applying cancellation insurance where relevant.
  • Assist the security manager with the management of security incident investigations and office security fit outs.
  • Assist the security manager with the development and implementation of security policies and procedures within the international firm.
