I'm supporting a commercial organisation based between the West Midlands and London that is seeking a Business Assurance Manager on a 12‐month fixed‐term contract, with potential for extension. This is a delivery‐focused, hands‐on role within the 2nd Line of Defence, supporting the design, implementation and assurance of material controls as part of an ongoing controls uplift programme aligned to Provision 29. The successful candidate will be comfortable carrying out detailed controls work and operating effectively within a complex business environment. The organisation offers a hybrid working model, with a blend of on‐site and remote working to support the needs of the project.

Experience required

  • Strong practical experience in control design, documentation and testing
  • Exposure to material controls and 2LOD assurance
  • Background in Internal Controls or Internal Audit
  • Confident stakeholder engagement and communication skills
