Do you want to take ownership of data protection for a tech-first, challenger bank as they continue to scale globally? Working with nominated data champions, it’s your opportunity to lead and implement while leaving a lasting impact. With world class data and tech resources at your disposal, you’ll report directly to the Chief Compliance Officer and only need to be in Central London office three times a week. The rest of the time you’ll manage your own schedule from home. What you’ll do
- You’ll take the lead on privacy for the UK and beyond, advising the business on data protection and making sure it stays compliant as it continues to launch new banking products and services.
- You’ll shape privacy assessments, track compliance and report directly to senior leadership, giving you a strong voice at the top table.
- Building relationships across the business will be key, so you’ll work closely with privacy champions and stakeholders to keep things running smoothly.
- You’ll also get the chance to develop privacy frameworks that will be used globally.
What you’ll need
- Demonstrable experience from a tech-first, regulated organisation, like a startup or scaleup, e.g. fintech, digital bank, Insurtech, legaltech, SaaS scaleup.
- Proven track record with end-to-end privacy delivery, able to take on a full DP programme.
- Deep knowledge of UK and EU GDPR data protection laws.
- Sound knowledge of best practice data protection and privacy frameworks, and methodologies.
