We’re looking for an experienced AI Governance Specialist to join a large, regulated organisation on an initial 3 month contract. This is a hands-on role sitting across AI Governance, Data Governance and Technology Risk, with responsibility for ensuring AI and data are adopted responsibly and effectively across the organisation.

The role involves working closely with Data, AI, Technology, Risk and Privacy teams to develop and embed effective governance around AI and data.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining and developing AI and Data Governance frameworks, policies and controls
  • Managing the AI inventory, risk assessments and classification of AI use cases
  • Assessing AI risks including bias, fairness, explainability, privacy and resilience
  • Running AI Governance Forums and supporting Ethical AI decision-making
  • Managing risks, controls, issues and remediation activity
  • Working with senior stakeholders and international teams to align local and global governance standards

What we’re looking for:

  • Strong background in Data Governance / Data Management who have moved into AI Governance, Responsible AI or Model Governance.
  • Demonstrable experience developing and embedding governance frameworks alongside a good understanding of risk, controls, policy and assurance.
  • Experience within financial services, insurance or another highly regulated environment.
