The RoleReporting to the Director of Legal & Compliance, you will: Lead the compliance function and manage an established teamProvide senior regulatory advice across the businessOversee key frameworks including Consumer Duty, SMCR, monitoring and governanceEnsure regulatory requirements are effectively embedded across customer journeys and operationsPartner with senior stakeholders across commercial, operational and technology teamsContribute to ongoing transformation, growth and regulatory enhancement initiativesThis role offers the opportunity to shape team structure and capability, rather than simply maintain BAU.Candidate ProfileWe are seeking individuals with: Significant experience in FCA-regulated compliance rolesStrong knowledge of consumer credit regulation (CONC, DISP, SYSC, Consumer Duty, SMCR)A background in consumer credit, lending, brokerage or retail bankingProven leadership and stakeholder management capabilityA pragmatic, commercially aware approachThe ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environmentCandidates stepping up from a senior No.2 role will also be considered.
