To deliver high quality PE lessons, collaborating with staff and leaders to develop a strong whole school approach to PE, sports and healthy living.

To carry out the duties and responsibilities of teachers as detailed in the most recent version of the School Teachers Pay and Conditions Document (STPCD 2025) and meet the requirements of the Teaching Standards.

Deliver the PE curriculum and any sports clubs as relevant.

Work with leaders to develop consistent practice in teaching and learning, ensuring that children achieve the highest standards of attainment and achievement.

Organise, plan and prepare inter-school competitions, sporting events and trust events, representing the school at such events as required.

Teacher qualifications/Coaching qualifications:

  • Knowledge and understanding of the Primary Curriculum and its application.
  • Coaching/Teaching across the whole primary age range.
  • Love of physical education, and the passion for helping pupils achieve.
