Senior Warehouse & Logistics Manager β 12-Month FTC A globally recognised engineering company is looking for a Senior Warehouse & Logistics Manager to lead and manage all warehouse and logistics operations β including goods-in, inventory control, material handling, shipping, and dispatch β on a 12-month fixed-term contract. Reporting to the Head of Supply Chain, you will provide strategic and operational leadership to a team of five direct reports and approximately 50-60 indirect team members across warehousing, transportation, logistics, and inventory management functions. This role offers a salary of Β£70,000, plus a Β£6,600 car allowance and a 10% bonus. Key Responsibilities: Lead, coach, and develop the warehouse and logistics leadership team, setting KPIs and managing training plans Take ownership of all goods-in, storage, and outbound shipping operations to customers and subcontractors Oversee internal logistics processes and evaluate warehouse layout and material flow for optimisation Manage 3PL partnerships, including budgets, performance, and compliance with relevant legislation Drive continuous improvement in inventory management β including cycle counting, stock accuracy, profiling, and picking processes Support wider business initiatives to increase automation and improve MRP, ERP, and WMS utilisation Ideal Candidate Profile: Proven experience in a senior Warehouse, Supply Chain or Logistics Management role Background in manufacturing, engineering, aerospace, FMCG, defence, pharma, or other regulated environments is highly desirable Proficient in using logistics and supply chain systems β MRP, ERP, WMS Strong leadership capabilities with experience managing large, multi-disciplinary teams Comfortable working on a 12-month fixed-term contract basis
