Overview
Our client, a prominent organisation in the apprenticeships sector, is currently seeking a skilled Curriculum and Performance Manager – Trade to join their team. This is a permanent position that encompasses managing curriculum delivery, staff performance, and ensuring compliance with apprenticeship funding guidance. The role requires experience in Trade, Engineering, Automotive, or Construction.
Responsibilities
- Managing the day-to-day delivery of the curriculum, ensuring the implementation and effective operation of end-to-end learner journey processes.
- Supervising and supporting learning coaches to maintain appropriate learner-to-staff ratios.
- Conducting monthly performance management reviews based on learner experiences and outcomes.
- Monitoring learner retention and implementing strategies to minimise dropouts.
- Developing innovative curriculum designs, evaluating and adjusting them based on feedback.
- Planning and co-ordinating assessments, exams, and end-point assessments in compliance with awarding organisations\’ requirements.
- Embedding essential skills such as English, maths, and digital literacy across the curriculum.
- Instilling a high-performance culture within the team, aligned with company values and behaviours.
Requirements
- Experience in apprenticeship delivery and understanding of funding guidance.
- Background in Trade, Engineering, Automotive, or Construction.
- Strong management skills and ability to handle a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent leadership abilities for supporting the development of delivery teams.
- Proficiency in data management and staff performance assessment.
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and exhibit self-motivation.
- Ability to adapt to varied tasks and unsocial working hours when needed.
