My client is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Accountancy Coach to support learners on their apprenticeship journey. This is more than just a numbers role-you\’ll be inspiring the next generation of accountants and helping them succeed.
No prior mentoring experience is required – what matters most is your passion for finance and the desire to make a real difference.
Key Responsibilities
Mentor and motivate learners through their apprenticeships
Build strong relationships with apprentices and employers
Conduct regular progression reviews, setting SMART targets
Ensure compliance and maintain accurate learner documentation
Simplify complex accounting concepts to make learning engaging
Provide pastoral support, fostering a positive and inclusive environment
Stay up to date with accounting developments and share knowledge
Promote equality, diversity, safeguarding, and key values in every session
Requirements
AAT Level 3 & 4 qualified
Experience working in an accounting environment (industry or practice)
Strong communication and organisational skills
Empathy, motivation, and the ability to inspire learners
Confident IT skills (MS Office, e-portfolios, digital resources)
Full UK driver\’s licence and access to a vehicle
(Desirable but not essential: training/mentoring experience, prior apprenticeship/education sector background, or assessing qualifications.)
