As an Activities Coordinator at a Barchester care home, you’ll help to create a stimulating environment that enables the delivery of exceptional all-round care and support for residents. The role involves devising imaginative, fun and motivational activities that suit every interest and ability, with the aim of maximizing wellbeing, independence and social engagement for the residents., The Activities Coordinator will be responsible for getting to know the residents and their families, and then creating tailored activities programmes that cater to their needs and interests. The role requires strong organizational skills, a driven mindset, and the ability to inspire both residents and staff to participate in activities within the home and in the local community. While previous experience is preferred, the necessary training will be provided to help the successful candidate develop their skills and progress their career.
