About The Role As a Head of Maintenance at a Barchester care home, you\'ll make sure we have a clean and well-maintained environment so that residents feel at home and staff can do their jobs well.
Creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere is part of our commitment to delivering first-class care and support.
Responsibilities Ensure a clean, well-maintained environment across the care home, including gardens and grounds.
Fix leaky taps and handle a range of maintenance tasks as needed.
Lead a maintenance team and support the General Manager with annual budget planning.
Liaise with contractors for work outside the team\'s area of expertise.
About You Hands-on property maintenance experience with at least one trade skill and ideally a proven ability to undertake a wide range of maintenance tasks.
Reliable and flexible with working hours.
Full UK driving licence, IT literacy and GCSEs in Maths and English (or equivalent).
