About the Role

Barchester Healthcare is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Implementer E Care to support the successful rollout and adoption of our digital care systems across our homes, hospitals and support functions. This is a national role focused on helping colleagues embrace new technologies, processes and ways of working. You will play a key part in ensuring our digital transformation programmes deliver meaningful improvements to care delivery, operational efficiency and colleague experience.

Working closely with project teams, operational stakeholders, Learning & Development colleagues and system users, you will provide hands-on support, coaching and guidance to ensure successful implementation and long-term adoption of new systems.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Supporting System Adoption and User Success
    • Provide frontline support and guidance to colleagues using E Care systems across homes, hospitals and corporate teams.
    • Deliver on-the-job coaching and support during implementation visits and hypercare periods.
    • Work alongside Digital System Trainers to ensure training materials remain effective, relevant and user-friendly.
    • Assist in gathering and reviewing user feedback to support continuous system improvement.
    • Develop and maintain clear guidance documents, user resources and support materials.
  • Managing Issues and Driving Continuous Improvement
    • Resolve day-to-day system issues to minimise disruption and support successful implementation.
    • Escalate complex issues to appropriate project team members where necessary.
    • Build strong working relationships with operational and support teams to identify improvement opportunities.
    • Support the review and implementation of system enhancements that improve user experience and business performance.
  • Supporting Change Management Activities
    • Engage colleagues at all levels to encourage adoption of new systems and processes.
    • Support the delivery of change initiatives that improve efficiency, compliance and quality of care.
    • Work collaboratively with Change and Learning & Development teams to ensure smooth transitions and positive user experiences.
  • Building Strong Stakeholder Relationships
    • Liaise with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure implementation activities meet business needs.
    • Adapt communication and influencing approaches to suit different audiences and situations.
    • Encourage feedback and collaboration to continually improve implementation approaches.
    • Promote effective partnership working across multiple departments and locations.

About You

Essential

  • Experience supporting projects, change programmes or system implementations.
  • Experience working with external suppliers, partners or agencies.
  • Strong understanding of business processes and system adoption.
  • Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Strong analytical, auditing and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and report-writing skills.
  • Ability to build positive relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • A collaborative and people-focused approach.
  • Evidence of continuing professional development within a relevant discipline.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationally.
