ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Senior Head of Maintenance at Barchester, you’ll make sure we have clean and well-maintained environments so our residents feel at home and our staff can do their jobs well.
We’ll look to you to support homes in your region with their resources, products, in-house skills and contractors to ensure they run efficiently. You can expect plenty of variety as a Senior Head of Maintenance with us. You could be pulling together a bank of local contractors one moment and discussing the budget for a refurbishment project with a General Manager the next. Across everything you do, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere where first-class care and support can be delivered for our residents and their families will be your focus.
ABOUT YOU
As Senior Head of Maintenance at Barchester the wellbeing of our residents will be your number one priority. You’ll make sure all work is carried out with sensitivity to their needs. With hands-on experience of property maintenance, you’ll have at least one trade skill and a proven ability to manage projects, budgets and training. An excellent communicator, you’ll be able to build strong working relationships with your maintenance team, General Managers and external contractors. You should be reliable and flexible when it comes to travelling and work hours. This role also calls for a full UK driving licence, IT literacy and GCSEs in Maths and English (or equivalent).
