About the Role
At Barchester Healthcare, we are investing in technology and systems that support the delivery of outstanding care and operational excellence across our organisation. We are looking for a Salesforce Administrator to play a key role in both the implementation and ongoing enhancement of our Salesforce platform. Working as part of the IT team, you'll support the day-to-day administration, configuration and optimisation of Salesforce, ensuring users receive an excellent experience and the platform continues to meet evolving business needs. You'll support user management, configuration changes, reporting, system maintenance and training while helping to improve data quality and deliver valuable business insights. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with Salesforce administration experience who enjoys problem solving, supporting users and driving continuous system improvement within a fast-paced environment.
What You'll Be Doing
- Salesforce Administration & Configuration
- Manage all aspects of Salesforce user administration including user setup and deactivation
- Configure access rights, permissions, profiles, sharing rules and public groups
- Deliver Salesforce configuration changes including:
- Flows
- Assignment rules
- Approval processes
- Fields and page layouts
- Record types and dynamic layouts
- Apps and actions
- Custom settings
- Mobile administration
- Dashboards and reports
- Support ongoing platform enhancements and optimisation following implementation
- User Support & Customer Experience
- Provide day-to-day support to Salesforce users across the business
- Communicate platform updates and system changes effectively to end users
- Deliver proactive system maintenance activities including security reviews, release updates, health checks and optimiser reviews
- Support and deliver user training to ensure adoption and effective system usage
- Build positive working relationships with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Reporting, Data Quality & Insights
- Design and develop custom reports and dashboards to support business performance and decision-making
- Support data management activities to maintain Salesforce data quality and integrity
- Run checks, validations and automations to improve data accuracy and consistency
- Help identify opportunities to improve processes and system performance
About You
- Minimum 2 years experience administering Salesforce platform
- Minimum of one year working within a technical support environment
- Salesforce Administration Certification
- Strong understanding of data management and data import/export processes
- Familiarity with Salesforce and Marketing Cloud
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Able to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities and work at pace
- Good standard of education including Maths and English
