Barchester Healthcare are looking for a Regulation & Quality Intelligence Officer to join our Regulation and Quality Improvement team and play a key role in strengthening oversight, insight and compliance across our organisation. You'll support the Lead Intelligence Officer by turning complex data into meaningful insight, ensuring our Senior Management Team, Executive Board and Board receive accurate, timely and high-quality reports. Your work will directly influence decision-making, risk management and service improvement.
NEED TO DO:
- Monitor internal regulatory activity and analyse weekly reports from the Regulation & Quality Improvement Team
- Track statutory notifications and safeguarding referrals, highlighting under-reporting and emerging themes
- Provide data and follow-up actions for Senior Management, escalating concerns where needed
- Produce clear summary reports on internal quality reviews
- Lead reporting for new services, including inspection updates, draft report summaries and risk identification
- Track and record CQC Assessment Framework inspections
- Maintain external inspection data and provide monthly updates to Managing Directors
- Analyse qualitative and quantitative data from internal, local and national sources for Board-level reporting
- Identify trends in non-compliance using internal audits and external inspection reports
- Monitor regulatory developments across the health and social care sector
- Review QIR, clinical governance and health & safety data to identify risks and themes
- Support Welltower and APEX reporting on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis
- Collaborate across the Quality, Risk & Compliance Directorate to deliver high-quality analysis and reporting
- Prepare ad hoc reports as required
- Attend virtual team meetings and twice-yearly in-person events
- Work with third-party partners to enhance reporting systems and capabilities
