About the Role
At Barchester, we are offering a rare opportunity for an experienced IT Project Manager to join us in a new permanent position. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of IT projects ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to a high-quality standard. You will work closely with project sponsors and key stakeholders to define, shape, and deliver project objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the successful delivery of IT projects across Barchester's portfolio
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables with clear success measures
- Produce investment case papers to support project proposals
- Maintain the change calendar for all planned service-impacting activities
- Identify and manage demand on IT resources, ensuring team capacity is aligned
- Support the IT Director in prioritising initiatives based on demand and business needs

- Proactively manage project risks and escalate where appropriate through governance channels
