Forest Hospital is an independent mental health hospital in Mansfield, supporting 30 patients with a variety of mental health conditions. This is a unique opportunity for an Art Therapist to join us for 5 hours per week, where you will work alongside an experienced and friendly team to achieve our ambition of supporting patients to celebrate life and encourage socialisation, self‑esteem, and memory‑retrieval. Using a specialised form of Psychotherapy, the role of our Art Therapist will be to improve the emotional wellbeing, quality of life, and self‑expression of patients.
This exciting role offers an experienced Art Therapist the opportunity to provide significant benefits to detained and non‑detained patients living with various mental health conditions. We are looking for the following skills/attributes to complement the team:
