ABOUT THE ROLE
As an Activities Assistant at a Barchester care home, you'll deliver imaginative, fun and varied activities to ensure our residents can enjoy an environment that is motivational and fulfilling. You will help each resident pursue the interests they enjoy most, making a real impact on their lives. The role involves delivering an entertainment and activities programme that covers a wide range of pastimes, social activities, outings and events, helping residents live as independently as possible and enhancing their involvement with family, friends and the local community.
ABOUT YOU
You don't need any specific experience to join us as an Activities Assistant, so you could come from any background. What is important is that you have a sense of fun, creativity and the ability to encourage and motivate others, and an interest in the people we support. Enthusiastic and empathetic, you're someone who will enjoy helping our residents live their lives to the full.
