What will the role look like? The Family Plus team works within Forward Leeds supporting families of service users engaged in treatment for issues around drugs and alcohol. The team engages on a preventative and early help model, working with families whose requirements are below the child protection threshold. The purpose of engagement is to improve family functioning and facilitate access to support to maintain positive changes. The team comprises family plus workers based across three Forward Leeds sites, an emotional health and wellbeing worker who works exclusively with children of the families, a senior worker, and a Team Manager. What are we looking for? We are seeking an individual with experience in providing intensive case support for families with children of any age. The role involves supporting the family in care planning, achieving recovery, and ensuring children are safeguarded at all times.
