The Organic Social Media Specialist helps execute BARBRI’s organic social strategy across multiple lines of business and platforms. This position involves daily content publishing, community engagement, social listening, trend research, and performance tracking. 50% of this role includes supporting BARBRI’s Professional Education and LinkedIn growth strategy, while also contributing to broader BARBRI content across Facebook, X, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Reddit, Threads and other emerging platforms. As part of BARBRI’s Collaborative Creative Brand Team, you will contribute to brand awareness, customer engagement, organic traffic, AI visibility and company culture through delivering consistent, high-quality campaigns executed across BARBRI’s multi-channel ecosystem. The ideal candidate is highly organized, creative, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment with multiple product lines, stakeholders, and weekly priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily Content & Channel Management
- Publish and schedule Brand Guide-aligned content across LinkedIn, Facebook, X, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Threads and additional platforms.
- Maintain and update segment-specific content calendars.
- Ensure all posts are optimized for platform best practices, accessibility, tagging and timing.
- Assist in preparing assets, caption copy and campaign deliverables.
- Professional Education & LinkedIn Support
- Execute organic posting, engagement and content distribution for Professional Education channels (LinkedIn, Facebook, X).
- Support creation of LinkedIn-specific content including newsletters, Live sessions, thought leadership posts, industry trend highlights, SME spotlights, webinar promotions, and professional recognition and awards.
- Maintain strong collaboration with internal Professional Education Product and Marketing teams as well as Paid Media colleagues.
- Content Creation & Asset Support
- Assist with the creation of organic content, including graphics, video clips, captions, stories, and carousels tailored to each platform.
- Repurpose existing assets and content into platform-optimized formats.
- Trend Research & Competitive Insights
- Monitor competitor activity and share insights that can inform future content.
- Track platform updates, best practices, trending formats, industry conversations, and competitive activity.
- Compile actionable insights.
- Social Listening & Community Engagement
- Monitor brand tags, mentions, comments, and conversations across all platforms.
- Engage with followers, student communities, and relevant professional audiences.
- Campaign & Project Support
- Help execute social components of larger campaigns.
- Coordinate with internal teams for assets, approvals, and messaging alignment.
- Attend selected industry events to help generate authentic content on location.
- Analytics & Reporting
- Assist in weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting by compiling metrics such as reach, impressions, engagement rate, audience growth, clicks and content performance.
- Provide observations and recommendations based on social performance data.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2-5 years' experience managing organic social channels.
- Strong understanding of LinkedIn and professional-facing content.
- Experience with Facebook, X, TikTok, YouTube, Instagram.
- Proficiency with scheduling tools (Sprout Social, Meta Suite, Monday, etc.).
- Excellent writing, communication, and organization skills.
- Ability to manage multiple brands and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong comfort level with analytics and social insights.
