Position Overview:
We are currently recruiting for a Marketing Lead across top-tier Premium, Fashion & Heritage wholesale accounts incl. Retail and Outlets to join our Marketing team based in London. The role will support the Head of Marketing in delivering the UK marketing plans and marketing excellence by implementing seasonal, customer-centric marketing campaigns, aiming to successfully deliver elevated brand solutions to drive commercial success across high-profile wholesale accounts and Barbour’s retail distribution channels.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Strategic Marketing Excellence: Support the UK&IE Head of Marketing with building out priorities and implementation of marketing campaigns to successfully deliver the 5 year plan for Barbour’s Fashion, Premium and Heritage accounts.
- Seasonal Campaign Implementation: Implement seasonal marketing activity and successfully balance global vision with local requirements, to develop and grow the business.
- Elevated Wholesale Marketing Planning: Deliver seasonal wholesale marketing activity for top-tier and premium fashion lifestyle accounts.
- Creative Briefing: Manage briefing process of central creative teams, partner teams & agencies.
- Brand Guardian: Be the Brand Guardian and key point of contact between partners and Barbour’s Central Marketing.
- Project Management & KPI Tracking: Ensure project overviews are built out for each marketing activation and performance is tracked.
- Budget Management: Support Marketing Operations Manager with budget management.
- Stakeholder Management: Collate & update marketing reports to ensure all stakeholders are kept informed.
- Seasonal Asset Distribution: Manage approval process of customer imagery requests.
- Customer Champion: Act as a Customer Champion to deliver elevated, premium customer experiences.
- Commercial Support: Establish close relationships with nominated partners and sales units.
- In-store Brand Presentation: Work with Partners and Sales Teams to understand the retail roadmap.
Skills and Experience:
- Proven trade and retail marketing experience.
- A passion for the premium & luxury fashion industry.
- An understanding of the grassroot indie heritage fashion scene.
- Demonstrates high standards of attention to detail.
- Able to work well under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Practices a growth mindset; is open, flexible, positive and agile.
- Extremely self-motivated.
- Able to work independently and within a team.
- Strong organisational and time management ability.
Additional Information:
- The job will require travel within the UK from time-to-time.
- Discretionary Company bonus scheme.
- 25 days holiday as standard increasing with length of service.
